lead team nominees

We would like to extend our gratitude to Paul Galle and Preston Neufeld for their service and investment into our church for the past 3 years. They have served well and helped lead us through some important seasons. The two men presented above will help us fill the gaps left by Paul and Preston quite well.

  • Ben hershberger

Ben Hershberger is a new nominee to join our lead team that we are excited to present to you. His leadership style leans toward people and inspiration, which is a great fit for our current needs. Ben and his wife, Jessica, have 4 boys: Christian, Noah, Jonah, and Isaac…all who have attended Grace for several years now. Ben teaches in our Club 56 class and usher team, while Jessica serves in the nursery. Their oldest son, Christian is heavily involved in our youth group. Ben is the Operations Manager for Midwest Transformer in Hesston.

Ben says, “I love that our church is a genuine place to meet people where they’re at and get down and dirty about our faith journey.”

  • blaine stucky

Blaine Stucky will be returning to the team after a few years off, and has a very even leadership style, which means his strengths are in both analytics and people. Blaine served with the initial families when Grace Crossing was first planted. He has previously served on the lead team for 6 years, led our church design/renovation, and assists with stage designs. He and his late wife, Teresa, taught club 56 and were on the worship team together. Blaine and their daughter, Brianna, continue serving on worship team to carry on Teresa’s legacy. He is the owner of AG360 Insurance Agency, The Hub Brick Oven & Brewery and The Station Coffee & Bakery, and sits on boards for Pine Village and Moundridge High School.

Blaine says, “Before the inception of Grace Crossing, my late wife Teresa and I felt God calling us to be a part of a group of other families to start a new church we call Grace Crossing today, whose principal goal is Bible-based evangelism and outreach to all people in our local and surrounding communities delivering God’s love, truth, and hope to a world in need. This is what I love about this church, and it is evident with the growth and attendance of many differing communities who have called Grace their home.”

2025 operating budget

**This projected budget is heavily focused on ministry and missional impact this year. We reallocated money that used to go toward the mortgage and invested in our ministry areas & have committed to 10% of our income toward missions.**

  • You will notice that this proposed budget reflects our mortgage being completely paid off, and that money being allocated into other areas of ministry. Only a bit over a 2,000 increase from 2024, and our 2024 giving was almost $20,000 over projected. We had a good financial year.

Pine Village sponsor church opportunity

We have been presented an opportunity to become a sponsor church, which means that our people would have priority access to housing options, our facebook service can be accessed by their residents, we can have a board position, and can also be involved in their chapel services.

  • About pine village

Pine Village is a person-centered care home, and strives to care for the whole person- body, mind and spirit. With the primary goal of keeping residents safe, Pine Village works with residents and families individually to determine resident preferences and do our best to uphold those.

We have families and individuals connected to Pine Village in many ways, and believe that this is a small way that we can support a local organization while also adding value to our own people reaching the age of Pine Village’s target demographic.
